Hello friends! This spread you see here is the last one I made in September and when I did my monthly audit and realized I had only drawn 11 hours that month I was shocked!!! I usually average around 20-25. It had been a big month but let’s be honest, all months are busy, I just didn’t show up as I should have. So now October is starting and I can feel it, it’s pretty cold already (I’m in Canada), I promise myself to show up even if it’s cold, even if my art is shit that day or that week. I’m just gonna keep showing up anyways!
New month, new me!
So I decided to just doodle whatever came to mind or inspired me in the little moments I could find this week. I was not gonna let another month go by with only 11 hours of work! I was also scared to use my own blog I decided to create because I did not have good enough art to post. Another ridiculous blockage of mine. So now I decided to show you my random doodle of the start of the month without feeling ashamed. Instead I am proud that I showed up even if it’s cold and I’m tired! It’s silly because I enjoy to look at people posting their rough sketch often more than the clean final products, maybe some of you like my messy dirty doodles ahah. I am not sure yet how I like scans versus pictures. the 2 spreads under are scanned.
So that’s it for today! Voila a piece of me on the internet. Now that I am breaking the ice. I will feel more comfortable posting more here and I will look back one day and be happy I did 🙂
